7 FantaSeas embarks at Miami Beach. Miami Beach Marina is centrally located within 30 minutes from Miami International Airport. South Beach or as the hipsters call it, "SoBe". You'll want to save some time either before or after your exotic dreams to experience SoBe. Over the last ten years, SoBe has experienced a virtual renaissance of the arts and has become a favorite milieu for the fashion and film industries.

The nearby "Art Deco" district is famous for its pastel, lovingly-restored landmark hotels and architecture of 1920's and 30's. Stroll down Ocean Drive, dine at a beachfront café or cruise on over to the newly renovated Lincoln Road outdoor pedestrian mall, where an eclectic mix of shops, art galleries, restaurants and live entertainment, reflects                                                        the international blends of Latin, Caribbean, and European cultures.

Coconut Grove offers a playhouse and a collage of dining, from casual to fine dining. Coco Walk features live entertainment, a multi-plex movie theatre and shoppes. Coconut Grove is majestically appointed with a sophisticated essence of class.

If you arrive by 11:00 a.m. you can board your yacht and sit dockside. We recommend this option for a Bahamas cruise to your private island, as this allows you to make a very early morning departure for the Bahamas. After all the business is taken care of, it's time to start your vacation by dining at one of the restaurants at Bayside or heading out to Coconut Grove and/or chic SoBe for an evening of fine dining, dancing and girl watching - three of our favorite activities!

Weather is the single most important factor when planning a trip to the Bahamas. Our prevailing south and southeast winds usually make for an easy crossing of the Gulfstream. Although Bimini Harbour is almost directly east of Miami Beach, we must sail in a southeasterly direction to compensate for the northerly flow of the Gulfstream. In the winter months, we get fronts which blow through from points north. When the winds get up to twenty knots, the Stream becomes impassable for small craft. When this happens, just remember "YOU ARE ON VACATION" - go with the flow and head south for a calmer trip to our beautiful Florida Keys! Or you can board your private jet and be on your private island in about an hour.
